Farm shop delicatessen and bakery – Le Garde-Manger

Le Garde-Manger by 3-star chef Emmanuel Renaut

“Delicatessen, wines, take-away dishes, mountain produce”: the tone is set.

At Le Garde-Manger, taste is not something to be trifled with.
In his farm shop delicatessen and bakery in the centre of Megève, chef Emmanuel Renaut, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, conjures up the very best in uncompromisingly delicioushomemade products, alongside gourmet treats from his artisan producer friends.

On Rue du Général Muffat in Megève, a stone’s throw from the Flocons Village bistro and Le Palais sports complex, Emmanuel Renaut has made Le Garde-Manger a focal point for local and visiting gourmets alike.

With its beautiful, wooden, mountain-style shop front, well-stocked shelves, pyramids of jars, and cured meats hanging from the ceiling, this appetising delicatessen has all the makings of a fine dining experience.

3-star delicatessen and catering service

From the cheese counter to the cellar and from an array of charcuterie to jams and biscuits, chef Renaut has put together a gourmet selection of local and home-grown products.
Savoie can be savoured through a fine collection of aged mountain cheeses, including Beaufort, Abondance, farmhouse Reblochon, the rare Bleu de Termignon, Tomme de Savoie, and a host of other alpine varieties.
France can be enjoyed down to the last drop, with an excellent range of wines from up-and-coming winemakers and estates with recognised savoir-faire.

With local jams, Guildive sardines, Kalios olive oil, mouthwatering chocolates, Megève mountain spring water from the neighbouring Domaine de la Sasse, choice is paramount at Le Garde-Manger.

Chef Renaut’s delicatessen in Megève also offers an exclusive range of in-house products for that special 3-star touch including sausages, pâté-croûte, terrines, genepi liqueur, gin, negroni, the chef’s very own sapinette fir tree liqueur, honey from the Flocons de Sel beehives and delicatessen dishes including Renaut’s unmissable signature pike quenelle (dumplings)*.

Depending on the season, the range evolves and expands, from Christmas shortbread, foie gras and festive take-away dishes to the essentials of summer picnics in the mountains, including the chef’s hummus and taramasalata, homemade bread sticks and wonderfully generous quiches.
