For a rendezvous with conviviality
Le Prieuré is a new bistro run by chef Emmanuel Renaut in the centre of Megève, next to the church on the main village square.
This historic restaurant, whose name evokes its 11th century Benedictine past as a priory, was transformed into a restaurant in the 1930s by architect Henry-Jacques Le Même, widely considered to be the creator of the skier’s chalet concept.
Le Prieuré combines tradition and modernity, with its French-style ceiling, parquet flooring and warm, contemporary, chalet feel.
This is a friendly place, welcoming visitors at any time of day, whether for a morning coffee, lunch, an afternoon snack or dinner.
When the sun is shining, the terrace is the perfect place to indulge in an al fresco meal.
Le Prieuré has quickly established itself as the place to be for connoisseurs of fine food in Megève.

Generous, gourmet, bistro-style cuisine
At Le Prieuré, Savoyard cuisine revisits time-honoured family traditions with a modern twist from 3-starred chef Emmanuel Renaut.
The menu showcases local produce such as Reblochon PDO, wild mushrooms and fish straight from the Alpine lakes.
The dishes are simple and generous, like the crispy Reblochon spring rolls and the polenta soufflé with mushrooms.
Regional cheeses are given pride of place, and desserts such as chocolate mousse made from Bonnat, the renowned French chocolate manufacturer, and seasonal tarts, add that perfect finishing touch.
The vineyards of Savoie are also well represented, offering wines typical of the region.
Le Prieuré is renowned for its authentic, generous cuisine, where good food and conviviality converge to the delight of our guests.
